Re;Laps
Re:Laps was made for GMTK Game Jam 2025. The theme was LOOP and I did what I could to follow the theme while making it fun.
It is a short arcade racing game where everytime you finish a lap, a clone spawn mimicking your movements on that lap., Eventually many clones will spawn and you need to survive.
Controls:
A/Left Arrow Key : Move Left
D/Right Arrow Key : Move Right
Space : Select
ESC : Pause Game
Leave a feedback on how I could improve this game, I might consider releasing a more polished version if I could, maybe a game for android.

Very cool game, the vibe is sweet, and movement feels really smooth. Also the clones are a fun obstacle, had a similar interpretation of the theme myself.

Also, I was a dumdum and only added the exe file, not knowing I needed to also include the pck file for it to be playable. My bad 😅
Neat racing game and in theme! You could have a high score system and each successful lap gives you a power meter which you can use to fight the clones like invincibility or detonate in a radius or maybe a teleport.
I was actually considering pickups like health packs or shield and speed booster, but a power up meter sounds like a good idea. Thank you for the feedback! Glad you liked the game
